Hawaiian Host® and Uncle’s Ice Cream come together to create one-of-a-kind ice cream sandwiches.

Hawaiian Host® and Uncle’s Ice Cream are happy to announce their new collaboration. Synonymous with chocolate-covered macadamia nuts, Hawaiian Host’s beloved sweet treats will be mixed into Uncle’s handmade ice cream sandwiches, produced right here in Hawai‘i. The star ingredient in the new, signature flavor is Hawaiian Host Dark Chocolate Alohamacs®, which is blended into honey mac nut ice cream and sandwiched between two freshly baked, old-fashioned, sugar cookies.

“We incorporate the best local ingredients we can find in our products. For our macadamia nut-infused sandwiches, there could be no better match than Hawai‘i’s premier mac nut candy company. I’m excited about creating new indulgences using their fabulous line of flavors,” shares Uncle’s Ice Cream co-founder Paul Logan.

“This is just the first of several flavors we’re doing together,” adds Ed Schultz, President and CEO of Hawaiian Host Group. “We decided to start with one of our classic flavors since many are already familiar with our Dark Chocolate Alohamacs®. But we’re excited to go back to Uncle’s kitchen in Waialua to begin experimenting with future flavor possibilities. As two local brands, we’re thrilled we were able to put our products together to create this delightful dessert.”
