Michael Fox named Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Luis Carbajal named Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, April 21, 2026 – Hawaiian Host Group (HHG), the country’s largest branded macadamia nut company and parent company of the Hawaiian Host® and Mauna Loa® Brands, announced the appointment of Michael Fox as its new CEO and Luis Carbajal as its new CFO.
Fox comes to HHG from California Olive Ranch, Inc. (COR), the largest domestic grower and producer of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO), operating a vertically integrated, tree-to-table model across approximately 5,000 acres of olive groves in California. During his seven years at COR, he accelerated sales and profitability, culminating with its recent sale to Cobram Estate Olives, Ltd. Fox has over 20 years of experience in consumer-packaged goods, including nearly a decade at the Frito-Lay division of PepsiCo, as well as leadership roles at Safeway/Albertsons Companies and Columbus Foods, a division of Hormel Foods.

Luis Carbajal joins HHG from Obagi Cosmeceuticals, where he served as CFO leading Finance, Supply Chain and IT. Previous experiences include CFO roles at Juanita’s Foods and Amazing Grass/Glanbia Americas.
