Hawaiian Host Group is bringing operations closer to home. We recently sold our Gardena, California industrial property to Rexford Industrial Realty, Inc.

Hawaiian Host Group owned this 62,000-square-foot-property — located in the South Bay region of Los Angeles — since 1980.

“We sold our Gardena property not only to right-size our operations but also to be able to expand our facilities here in Hawai‘i,” says Ed Schultz, President and CEO of Hawaiian Host Group. “It’s certainly been our focus as a company to create as many local jobs as the post-pandemic environment recovers. This sale allows to do that.”

Hawaiian Host Group’s 110-square-foot Honolulu facility currently serves as global manufacturing headquarters, and sister brand Mauna Loa will continue to operate from its longtime facility in Hilo.
